Central configuration

In a central configuration, theexpansion units are either inthe same cabinets as the cen-tral controllers or in a sepa-rate cabinet next to it. Themaximum length for the cableconnecting the central con-troller to the furthest expan-sion unit is 2 m (6.5 ft).

HousingThe housing consists ofbolted sheet-steel sectionswith ventilation openings atthe top and bottom. The slotshave socket connectors andquides to accommodate themodules.

Power supply chassisThe power supply chassiswith 3 fans is located in a tierin the bottom part of the housing.

The input voltage is either24 V DC or 230/120 V ACAn internal switch is providedfor selecting either 230 V or120 V AC.
