Remote GENIUS LANs can be migrated to our open protocol PROFINET in stages using
our GENIUS Gateway module (IC695GCG001). Multiple options are available for
upgrading GENIUS I/O to advanced technology in smaller footprints--using the
RX3i in a rack formation to reduce footprint, having a module easily connected
to PROFINET through an integrated baseplate (IC695CPE001), or changing to a
smaller slice I/O RSTi-EP for even smaller footprint and lower cost.
