I/O words are allocated to I/O Modules according to a fixed location. When the I/O Modules and Dedicated I/O Modules are connected, the I/O words will be allocated as follows. Input Word Allocation IR 000 to IR 015 are allocated as input bits. The first input word (IR 000), however, is allocated to the CPU’s 16 built-in input points. Note: Built-in CPU’s inputs are used for interrupt processing and built-in high-speed counter inputs. Output Word Allocation IR 100 to IR 115 are allocated as output bits.
