Connect the pratecfive earth connector of the mator to he PE terminal of the
coresponding inverter.
Use grounding cables with a large cross section to ground all units to a common
earth connection point or grounding bar by the shortest possible route.
Make sure the connec fion between inverter and earthed metall ic installation platform
is conductive (wide area meta-on-metal contact between the heat sink and ground.
e.g. unpainted contral cabinet mounting panel.Use high-frequency compafble
earthing strips.
Establish an equipotential bonding between system /control cabinet and drive /
motor (eg.hrough one-plece cable rack)

. Shield the contral cables.

Connect the shield by the shortest possible route and make sure it is earthed over a
wide area.

if using double-shielded cables, ground the outer shield on the inverter end and the
inner shield on the other end.
