Baud Rate 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600 (default), and 19200 bits/s
Address Range 1 to 255 (default device address is 246)
HART communication is used for configuration via the HART terminals or tunneling via the RS-485.

Note
The Rosemount 5300 Level Transmitter with Modbus protocol is configured to HART address 1 at factory. This reduces
power consumption by locking the analog output at 4 mA.
Display and configuration
Integral display
The integral digital display can toggle between: level, distance, volume, internal temperature, interface distance,
interface level, peak amplitudes, interface thickness, percentage of range, analog current out.
Note
The display cannot be used for configuration purposes.
